A few months ago Emma (age 6) and her mother Natalie (from Vietnam) started piano lessons at Marcia’s Music Studio . Three weeks later Dan (age 78, also from Vietnam) started lessons… a curious coincidence. All three are doing very well. Here’s what Dan has to say: “The last wish on my bucket list is to play the piano. I first met Marcia when I was 78 years old, not well coordinated, yet somehow Marcia managed to teach me play ‘Annie‘s Song’ by John Denver in 4 months! My next step is to learn to play ‘You Are My Everything’ by Santa Esmeralda for our 50th anniversary to my beloved wife. Wish me luck!”
My goal is to have them play a duet together at the fall piano student recital. That will melt everyone’s heart!
