Marcia’s students had a great time at their recital in April 2019.

“It was about 30 minutes before my choir was due to go on stage to sing in the Los Angeles County Holiday Festival. Not only are thousands in attendance in the symphony hall, but it is televised on PBS to all of southern California!! I found out the accompanist was not going to make it! What to do?! The piece was challenging, and I had never practiced it, but I really didn’t have a choice. I handed the baton to someone else, cut my fingernails, and accompanied the choir. I probably missed a few notes, but overall I pulled it off. I was not a piano major in college, but I had been playing (mostly for fun) all my life, and was good at reading music. This skill really saved the day! I love teaching people to read music.” ~ Marcia
